Villa Restanques is conveniently located in the gorgeous village of Théoule sur Mer, on the coast of the Mediterranean, just 20 minutes drive from Cannes and 25 min's from Nice airport. The panoramic view from the balconies is breathtaking, with historic sights like Grasse, Mandelieu, Cannes, and Cap D’Antibes clearly visible. The villa itself is typically Provençale in style and built into volcanic rock, typical of the coastline in the area. The sweeping views can be enjoyed from every room creating a dreamy atmosphere perfect for 3 or 4 couples sharing, or for a large family vacation.
The village of Théoule and its residents enjoy private exclusivity, quiet and hidden, yet only minutes away from all the excitement and bussle of glamorous Cannes. The beaches in the area are famous for their beige sand and clarity, offering an array of sports activities, snorkeling, ferry services to the neighboring islands (Isles de Lerins), and wonderful restaurants. All this is accessible too from the villa, just a pleasant 10 minute walk away. Nightlife and entertainment in Cannes is world-class, famous too for its annual film festival that attracts international celebrities and film buffs in May. During the months of July and August, the international Fireworks festival takes place weekly in Cannes and the spectacle can be enjoyed either there or from the comfort of the villa’s balcony while barbecuing, for example or, perhaps while sipping champagne in the outdoor jacuzzi?
Outdoor activities also include fantastic hiking/walking trails and cycling along the Corniche d’Or. The coastal drive to St Tropez is also a must-do, providing spectacular views of all the best the Riviera has to offer.
Villa Restanques and its balconies are completely private and enjoy the subtle fragrances of lavender, rosemary, and olive trees surrounding both sides.
The top level consists of the grand living room and dining area, large kitchen, and master bedroom with master bath (doubling as an indoor jacuzzi) and separate toilet, all recently renovated to top standard. The massive balcony is accessible from every room and is furnished with teek wood sun loungers, large outdoor dining table and chairs, plus a gas barbecue.
The lower level balcony is slightly narrower, accessible to each of the further three bedrooms. There is also a shower and toilet on the lower level as well as a large outdoor jacuzzi fitted with massaging jets for the ultimate after beach body therapy.
At night, both levels can be well-lit by outdoor lighting for safety. The terraced gardens are well maintained by a private gardener and the villa cleaned regularly every two days by private staff.
